We are a company specialising in the restoration and conservation of fine furniture, wooden objects and clock cases.

Our reputation and success has been built on twenty two years of unfailing dedication to our craft. We always, where practicable, adopt materials and techniques which are reversible and ethical. This enables craftsmen in future years to reverse any work we have undertaken without invasive or controversial methods. By employing this approach we help secure the long term preservation and care of our historic wooden heritage for future generations to enjoy.

We offer our clients a comprehensive service from the moment the initial enquiry is made. The relationship starts with an inspection of the item whereupon detailed notes and photographs are taken to facilitate a thorough estimate and treatment proposal. If a client wishes to proceed with a project, they are welcome to visit our studio workshop to view the work in progress and discuss any treatment carried out so far.

Value for money is fundamental to our approach. Whether a budget is big or small we are able to tailor the work to suit the client’s requirements whilst not forgetting the historical importance and integrity of the item.

 

Selling and purchasing select fine furniture

We have long, established relationships with many of our clients and are in a position to offer them our expertise and advice when they decide to improve their collections. This service has been taken forward and developed so that we can oversee the sale of their items be it through auction houses or by drawing on our own network of clients. To compliment this service, we are able to locate specific items for clients ensuring they make a suitable upgrade both from a historical and monetary perspective.
